2021 Picture A Scientist Screening and Roundtable

We screened Picture A Scientist for SMC students, community and alumnae. Picture A Scientist is a documentary about the challenges facing women in STEM in academia and the broader workforce. A roundtable discussion with STEM alumnae followed the movie.
2021 Annual Professional Development Workshop
September 25, 2021
Our workshops feature real-world scenarios, including case studies and anecdotes collected from SMC STEM alumnae. This gives current SMC students a better idea of the job search process: from application to interview to negotiation. Students practice new skills in controlled settings!
